Teaching a Drug Dealer

Teaching a Drug Dealer

 :)

Hi, hows it going? Have you fed a local starving missionary in your area? Sign up here to find starving missionaries near you!

Tuesday!

We woke up to the temple essentially being infront of us.. or atleast thats what it feels like.. but in the lovely (as always) temple session, there was about 15-20 other missionaries there.. so we might aswell have done a Zone Conference with them..

Then we didnt go to the Chick-fil-A in West Ed*, incase there are any Zone Leaders reading this.
But we did go shopping at Costco & Walmart, and did some emailing and calling!
We then had dinner at the Prince's with Indian food.. yum
Hence we headed to a member Lesson about 30 minutes away at the Hudson's. In which since we were there... took a stop at a store to buy some chocolate, it was necessary trust me. Then we drove home while listening to ZLC.. uhuh..

We also passed the temple 3 separate times that day, which is impressive since it is a 30 minute drive from our apartment.

Wednesday!

We did calls, in a bucket (not really but there was a bucket load of calls made..)
And we had DC which was fun.. I think
Then we did a lesson. (Very eventful, I know) and finished off the day by not leaving the apartment for 3 hours, seriously don't tell President, it was my DL fault.

Thursday! Pretty Average Day
(I'm not writing this a day late)

- More calls

- Found a guy to teach, who did a drug deal while we were talking to him, then found him... (no we didn't buy any)

- A friend missed a teaching, but did a member Lesson

- Had dinner with the Thomas's

- Then went to bed.
(That's all I wrote, don't blame me, blame the author)

Friday! Was a good day!
(Now caught up :)

We did "Studying" (we did nothing, besides joking around) then weekly planning. And didnt technically leave the apartment till about 3pm, (we left with the car, but never left the car till we were back in the apartment) (I swear we do missionary work... occasionally)

Did some contacting, and stop bys.

And had dinner with the Dalton's.
Then we baked a cake! Yum.

Saturday! A bland day :(

Downtown, lost track of my wallet.
Had a lesson w/ our friend and put him on baptismal date! April 19th!

Found my wallet.. in my pair of pants yesterday :)
And did some "pushups" (why are pushups difficult)

Today was Sunday (incase you forgot)

We had our on-date friend show up to Church, and he's going to watching General Conference with us at a members home!

Had a talk with an old friend, we ain't teaching him still. (Elder Pace would disagree)

And had dinner with the Noads!

My roommates also wanted to see if I'm allergic to Peanuts, so they put Peanut butter on my knee and let it sit for an hour or so... let me just say I'm indeed still allergic.. it started turning red...

And BAM, week done but here are some pictures :)

1)* Chick-fil-A definitely not in West Ed

2) Lots of snow, some may say too much, but I say just right..

3) Raspberry Chocolate

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today..
