HORSE WRANGLERS

Horse Wranglers

Hey-o peeps

We are now at least 2 days into the winter now, and it snowed again, someone out there ain't sending warm thoughts. It's probably the person who didn't want to make me cookies and send them to me from Somoa...

On this fine day, last week of which we call Monday.
I went to Walmart, then to Costco and got Ice-cream. (Almost as good as the Ice-cream I could get at a certain stake President house..)
Then we did sports starting at 1pm and didn't leave till 5:30pm.. I swear it was 2 hours.. then later in the night we unlocked the church building for Sister Hall & de los Santos
(Quality day!)

Twosday (it starts with 'to' because it's the 2nd day of the week)
We went downtown, and did some downtown-Ness, going on the way to our weekly service we found a lady interested in going to church.
Then had dinner with some members (definitely not not from our area)
Did a member Lesson to a member who needed us in their time of need. Then chilled for the rest of the night :)

Wed-ness-day
What happened today was an apartment fast, where we stay outside our apartment from 9am- 9pm... except that exact opposite might aswell have happened..
As we go throughout the day, I want you to ponder on why the heck we should be outside of our apartments for 12 hours..
But we had a church lesson canceled, and got dr.pepper & very delicious cake pops for DC from Sister Taylor & Spaulding. Then went back downtown for another 30ish minutes, had dinner (at the apartment), and finished our outside time with going to Kevin's house to celebrate him a happy birthday.
Then we had further apartment shenanigans (before 9pm) with Elder Noorda & Atkinson.. overall we stayed in the apartment longer that day then any other day on average..

Thursday, was fun!
We hung out with Elder Cassell & Johansen at Tanzen as we dropped off our car for maintenance and they came and picked us up, went to lunch. Then after that we picked up our car and went downtown. Then later dropped the car off to the other elders.
We were about to do weekly planning but had to do an emergency blessing which included a 50minute walk, and a lot of busses..
Then included in that is more busses and more walking to go to dinner, and a 30 minute walk home from dinner! Woo!
(I walked atleast 4ft today, almost as much as some island elders)
And an Missed-Attempted ZL Stewardship call.

Frooday!
We started this morning off by folding shirts! Kinda, but mainly organizing and putting them into boxes.. but we did this with Sis. Taylor, Spaulding, Butler, and Clayton. We got food from it too, Hawaiian Pizza.
Then later in the day we went to a member Lesson at 4pm, and didn't leave till 6:30pm (but it's completely legal if you add a 1.5 hour dinner block to it :] )
Also they both did missions in the Portugal Mission.. incase there is someone out there...

We did do some calling.. (not really lol, called like 2 people)
Then during comp study.. I made a bet with my self, and lost.. (I don't want to talk about it)
Anyway so now I owe Elder Adams (such an amazing elder, he does so much for me. Bakes me cookies, and cake, and even tests my food to make sure it isn't poisoned. Such a great and loving Elder, couldn't imagine anyone else to hangout with for the past 5 months) a chicken flame sandwich Tomorrow. He's excited..

Then we saw the Man,  the Myth, the Legendary Zone Leader Freeman & Matthew's!!!!!

Saturday!!!
We did another service from 10am to 3:30pm and was able to talk with Sis. Gould & Nichols the entire time as we were all HORSE WRANGLERS YEEEEE-HAAA 🐎 🏇

We also saw many other missionaries, such as Sis. Ward, Day, Frahs, and Elders Olsen, and Butler, etc!

We then made our long 15 minute journey home, did some studying and then went to Chicken Flame to finish my bet debt. Then after that amazing deal, I got peer-pressured into buying another meal from the little delicate Krispy Kreme Donut (known as Elder Adams)

Then we ended the night by having an actual ZL Stewardship call!!

Sunday 🌞
Uh.. honestly a very unproductive Sunday..

We went to church, had church with 0 friends, besides a homeless man that showed up, and the stake Presidency talked to him for a little bit :)

Then we also Partooké of la Sacramento (it's Spanish for 'Partook of the Sacrament' for those unfortunate souls who don't speak another language)

Did a lot of studying.. with a bit of an interesting FHE

Pos:
We baked cookies, brownies (peanut butter, gross), Healthy Muffins (they had about a cup of sugar in it)
Msg me if you want some!

And I'm also not emotionally prepared for next week... but we'll see then!

**
I know how many people are on this email list, and the amount that don't email is sad. And we don't need a sad and depressed Elder serving out here...
(Yes it is a plot for you to email me, :)

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today..
