Guess Who's Back, Back Again!

Guess Who's Back, Back Again!!

Hi again for the 20 billionth time

This week is adventure packed, with crime fighting, double crossing, and the batman stalking days of Downtown.

Stay tuned for all that and more on the weekly emails of Elder Da-bling-bling-boy

This week, as most weeks still start on Monday (if it doesn't you won't get an email from me on monday [crazy how that works])

Monday!
I did not sleep in.
Then we went shopping, and some sports that I definitely participated in (didn't actually play any sports)
But I did hang out with many of the missionaries there.. 2.5 total districts and watched an absolute LEGENDARY video of Elder Harris (i still want that pls)
Then we ate some pizza and drank some soda as I'm essentially in his district (for those few hours) and had a fun heartfelt conversation with Elder Westergard.

Then sent out an email about my loving and great friend Elder Adams.

Tuesday!!
Another service, moving boxes of shirts with Sis. Gould, Nichols and Elder Grande & STBE (soon to be elder)
Then we practiced POS for a lesson that later cancled in the day.. :(
Had dinner w/ Forsyth's and had pulled pork sandwiches for a "summer" time meal. Then called some people and got a find!!

Wednesday!!
We went to MacEwan, saw some members. Did District Council (last one) :(
Got a bunch of goodies (including the glorious Redvines) from a box of unknown mysteries
Then we went on to do some more of our favorite Downtown-ing (woo!)

Then we got to go to the Crawfords for dinner, and talked a lot about FSY & EFY, then did a member Lesson with them (it went well, I think)

We got home and did some talking with Elder Matthews (on an exchange) and Elder Adams & Pace, about a talk I heard earlier that day "Thinking Celestial" by President Russell M. Nelson
Overall good day! 8/10

Thursday!!
I went with Elder Jex to Clareview Too for ZL exchanges!
It was snowing all day but headed to the EPl (clareview rec centre) where we did contacts, but also saw the Clareview sisters on and exchange, Sis. De Los Santos, Hinds, Somerville.
Then we did some apartment knocking, that wasn't as bad as Elder Pace's experiences
Then had some lessons that fell through, but had Dinner with the Bloomfields at Arby's (those Ruben sandwiches are good... :)
Overall 9/10 day!

Friday.. was a normal day at 10°f
We had a service in the afternoon, and almost lost my toes and fingers.. it was very cold in the shade, disassembling a rusty metal shade structure for someone who doesn't even live in our area....
Took about 2 hours longer then I wanted it to be..
Then we walked downtown for a bit and almost lost my toes again (note to self, don't wear thin socks on the coldest day of the week :|  )
But we had dinner with the Pitcher's and had some amazing pie for 3/14, Pie Day (definitely didnt forget, I was just thinking healthy)

Bus Day!!- I mean Saturday!!
The other elders wanted us to know what they went through everyday for the past 3 transfers, so they took the car for the day.
Or they went down to Utah for the day..

But we started the day off with a 1 hour bus ride to a service of helping sis. Gould & Nichols with a member, then another hour bus ride back.. (honestly not a good use of time.. but it kept us from walking downtown on another cold day... so.. if you need someone to blame, it was fully Elder Pace's idea :) (not lying)
But we also learned the secrets of the CP chapel.. so gotta visit that eventually

Then we did some studying at the apartment.. then more busses to get to dinner. We had dinner at the Miller's, and had Keen-wah (it's spelled correct, don't judge me) and salad.. it was a good meal.
Then had a glorious homemade strawberry rhubarb pie, which was really good!
Fun fact: Rhubarb is part of the polygonaceae plant family, which is also where Buckwheat comes from!
(Don't ask me what buckwheat is, idk)

Travel time: Too long

Sunday, was chill
Went to church
Studied
Went to dinner w/ Yoneliunas & Hukin's and had Steaks!!
Then studied more
And did FHE with Departing Testimonies!!

Now that was my week, not the most interesting, but this week will be much more interesting with adventures to come! As I got transfer news today! And you'll never guess what happened.. but while I'm definitely very rushed to type this email out, you'll have to wait to next week to find out where I'm going! :)

1) I got those hidden vines

2) Clareview Rec Centre

just kidding, im staying for a 4th with some new companions

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
