Oct 13- Something Happened Probably

Monday-

Monday was a usual, until dinner time in which we went over to his house and had dinner... but turns out he lives in a members basement, and is good friends with the member so we had a nice group dinner!

Tuesday-
Had a usual morning, watched President Nelson's funeral after lunch. Did a lot of uneventful knocking and stopbys.

Had an amazing dinner with the Willet's, though I think they were concerned because I didnt talk enough in the lesson and was just sitting there with a blank expression on my face..

Started a talk... because Bishop's dont like to give any advance warning to the missionaries... (looking at you Bishop Dad, and Bishop Fears)

Went sleepy night night!

Wednesday-
Sealairo bought NHL cards from Timmies.

After lunch, we went to the church to prep for District Council, and I an old friend! Brother Crawford, from Strathcona!
He somehow (Mitch Hudson) got involved in the church cleaning business! It was good to see him! Last time I saw him was Stony Plain!

We had a Fantastic District Council for the last time of the transfer! Lots of fun, and i even gave a somewhat decent training!

After we had a good lesson with Daryl and Brother Payne, (who may have a lot of opinions... but i agree with a lot of them!)

Had a youth activity, in which we tried to see what would work better. A spoon or a fork.. and my group became the control group (because we cheated the least) and spoon won 85% of the time!

Had a late dinner at 7:30 with the Miller's, but had great message and mini lesson with Liam Miller!

And finally got a stewardship call by our ZL's... took ya long enough.. Lewis.

Thursday-
No Chapel Thursday was this week! And we surprisingly did it!

Went to visit Gina in the morning as we hadn't heard from her in a while, and had a lesson with her!

Did Warming Hearts, and then a lesson with Elizabeth, which always goes well... weird thing tho, items keep seemingly appear into her cart.. and since shes in a wheelchair its too much trouble for her to go back! 😉

Had dinner with the Kozak's + the Nickle's a very good dinner!

Went to the Johnson's, taught them and put Macy on Baptism date!

Friday-
After studies we had a lesson/ gave a blessing to Gina!

After lunch we did our Library service, and had a lesson with Mark, and met Shery-lynn, did service for her along with teaching her a little bit.

Dropped off bread from Shery-lynn to the Burill's! Did some knocking.

Had dinner at the Henriksen's and an amazing game of Laser Tag (gotta shoot some kids, lol)

Saturday-
We had a lesson with Morgan and Rafael's cousin David.

Had Thanksgiving Dinner at the Pond with Daryl.

Had a Hockey Service, and found out Popcorn girl's name is 'Anariee' !

Sunday-
Honestly, church, stopbys, more stopbys, texting, calling and FHE with Leaving testimonies!

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today.. But we got Krispy Kreme donuts for District Council  +5 points for District Leader! After collecting the donuts, but before the Council comes forward to decide who has to leave the island...
