Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Canadia ( I hope)

Canadia (I hope)   So Monday is my new pday (woo!) This whole week I've had to mention atleast twice per day how many days I've been here (today would be 6!), which at the time I was thinking 'oh dang, this is going to be a long mission'. Surrounding Edmonton is just farmland for miles, it's crazy, but back to Tuesday evening.  We got all to the airport, got to see Elder Willie again, and headed towards the mission home. Where we had dinner (not poutine), a short devotional and knowing who our companion is. Then we stayed at a hotel which was unusual, but had the nicest breakfast I might ever have for 2 years. Then we went to the church, had another devotional ...

It's been a perfectly normal week, nothing weird.

It's Been a Perfectly Normal Week, Nothing Weird. Hello people of thy Interwebs. Clearly things happen just to make my life slightly harder, as about 2 hours after I sent my previous email I became a DL by association (I'm the Comp of the DL). Because of this I now have 1 or 2 extra meetings, to learn further on leadership (yay!). During the latest one on Wednesday morning I ran into someone that I remember climbing with, Elder Bergsten or Elder Meredith's cousin's cousin. [ Photo attached at the Bottom & In Google Photos ] Recently I got the opportunity to go to the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on Tuesday was quite fun, I just absolutely loved standing in a bus together with nowhere to move for 20 minutes each way. But regardless of the ride there, on the way it started to snow and was snowing when we entered the temple. We did Baptisms and Initiatories which was fun. Then took more pictures outside when we were waiting for the bus, *cough cough* google p...
