Dec 22nd - Almost Christmas, without any gatherings..

Dec 22nd - Almost Christmas, without any gatherings..

Random Weekly-

The Friendship Centre, where friends make ships and sail the artic tundra of the Seven Seas.

Monday-
Didn't do a whole lot, just hung out and did the normal emailing and calling.

Tuesday-
We went to the store and I got Ice-cream, while Westergard bought more Eggnog.. (so far of the season, he has drunken 16 Liters of Eggnog, on his own....)

We also helped out with ESL, which is a church ran program, where members help teach missionaries' friends English! And missionaries just help set up the zoom and run the slides.

So we have no clue who the people learning English are, but we get to Strengthen our English abilities too!

Wednesday-
We had District Council today, (where my District Leader makes memes about me and my companionairo not doing a house tour challenge..)

Not much else happened that was overly exciting.

Thursday-
We had a phone call pass-off lesson from the Peace River elders in the morning, and it was a good call!

Later we went out and handed out some CHRISTmas flyers that we got from a mother of mine, and went down a street and were able to hand out a decent amount until we lost feeling of our limbs... also with how I'm slipping, I may join the concussion gang..

We were going to get a (much needed) oil change... but they weren't available till Monday. So mildly unfortunate, but its only been telling me that its low for the past week, so good chance it can last till Monday!

Friday-
We went to the FriendShip Centre, and it was good! We got there a little late, but since it was that last week before they go on break. They did little bags with a sandwich, chips, water, and a cherry candy cane.

At the end they gave us 3 bags each (they had left overs) a loaf of bread. And a WHOLE box of Candy Canes, which I'm 90% sure are cherry flavored, not minty...

I also got a $25 DQ gift card... so Im'ma hit the joint up!

Saturday-
We had Interviews today!

And I definitely didn't forget about it....
So we rescheduled for a later time that day, and had good interviews!!! 😁

I also contacted a bunch of our friends after, and got in contact with a few of them!
(Sadly not the one in Prison 😢)

Sunday-
We had church today! It was like a normal Sunday... except instead of 2nd hour, Peace River just set up a phone so that everyone in High Level can watch them eat their food at their Christmas Linger Longer.... it made me VERY hungry...

We also stopped by some people, a few answered and even got their phone number!
And warmed up a lot!

We also had FHE, which was fun! But some friends only have 2 FHE's left... 😥😥

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Nature Walks by the River

Nature Walks by the River Hi.  Invite your friends! (To something, maybe my emails??) Monday We went Thrifting for our District sports.... But we got Costco! Woo! Then went shopping woo! We had dinner at McDonald's and got a kids Happy meal toy which was a Minecraft Bee! Buzz buzz! 🐝 Tuesday We went to a service, and our weekly service had us make cookies and help with pudding! Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today.. But we got Krispy Kreme donuts for District Council  +5 points for District Leader! After collecting the donuts, but before the Council comes forward to decide who has to leave the island...
