Dec 15th - Christmas Zone Conference and More...

Random Weekly-

We had to get a new Car battery that was an absurd $500. And that was a whole days adventure... STAY TUNED.

Monday-
Its was a normal p-day.

Packed for the week of Edmonton.

Tuesday-
We continued to pack, and headed out to Peace River and hit -32°C on the way out.

We arrived, and ate their food.

Wednesday-
We drove, that morning in and through a blizzard. Legit could only see 10ft in front of me...

Around mid afternoon we arrived in Edmonton, and hit up Tansen, the $5 ramen place, it was good to eat there again!

After we headed to Sherwood Park for Elder Crum's appointment, and got to the CCC!

We were there for a little bit before me and Matthews left to go pick up some ties for him, and we also went Downtown, and got sushi!!

We went back to the CCC, and met the other 11 elders staying there this week.

Thursday-
We woke up and headed to the Ed North Stake Centre for Zone Conference, and managed to reunite with all my previous people!

We had some trainings, did the Christmas sports (which was sprout ball, or weirder doge ball) then had an entertaining zone leader training.

Was happy to meet E. Bunting, Bills, and a few others that I cant remember!
Along with seeing my favorites 😍

After Zone Conference, we stuck around for a bit of time, and had some ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS pumpkin pie spice cake with chocolate frosting. And I want a full cake for my 21st birthday of that.

I also managed to help Sister Grout get her packages from the AP's before going back to a lonely Valley View area.

We visited a member from Southgate, got the rest of our stuff from the CCC and hit the road!

Friday-
We got woke up back on the floor of the Peace River apartment, with intentions of leaving to High Level that day... but God had other plans..

We couldn't turn on our car. (If you didnt know, thats an issue as we need the car to go Vroom)

We eventually managed to get ahold of Roadside Assistance and get them over to Peace River, and he told us that normal batteries should be at 12V... Ours was at 7V. He also told that we couldn't turn off the car with out it permanently dying.

So we went on an adventure! We went to a mechanic shop, to find were we can buy a battery. Went to the shop, and waited for the Vehicle Coordinator to give the guy card info so we could buy a $500 battery!!! Why is it so expensive... then we drove the new battery up to the previously stated mechanic shop and he put it in!

We once again had a working vehicle!

After we went up to a store and got 2 extension cords so we could charge our cars in the night!

We decided to stay 1 more night at Peace River, so all 4 of us went to a Pizza place and got 2 large Donair pizzas! Besides burning my tongue 👅, they were really good!

We also went to the church, and explored and had fun, along with some weekly planning.

Saturday-
We woke up once again on the floor... my back hurts..

I joined in on Matthew's & Crum's Comp study

Got some food, and eventually hit the road for home. But, we stopped for Walmart to get some cheaper food, went to The Store, and after 3 hours got back in to High Level!

Sunday-
We got to church, and the Peace River Branch President was there and presiding!

I also met our Recent Converts, the Brink's (except I didn't realize it was them till after... oops)

After church, we went home and did some studies, and then helped our friend Tenya (Tanya??) shovel her driveway, in which after we also managed to help clear out a members walkway!

After that we went to the church again, did a missionary coordination meeting, and FHE!

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
