Week 259

 Week 259

Tuesday-

We did some temple baptisms at 11!

Then more fishing with no luck... clearly I need some of that Florida fishing luck.

We then picked up pizza from some members!

Had youth night of finishing up our pinewood derby cars, and next week we're racing ours! (It's red and says "kachow" it just has to win)

Then we visited our neighbors, Al & Cathey, and the Oilers are at 3-1 against Dallas!

Wednesday-
We helped Sis. Christensen all day (this must mean I'm going to help President Christensen in some way In the future..), then we had dinner at the Salter's

Tried a lesson with our friend, bit he was conviently not home at our assigned meeting time... sooo..

We went back to Sis. Christensen's to have her cut Elder R.Moose's hair!

Thursday-
IT WAS HOTTTTT (my goodness, me no likey likey)

But we still went door knocking in the 90° weather (pls take me to the igloo)

Did some study time

Then went to dinner at Fatburger with the members! It was very good with a very good (but small) milkshake!

Did some weekly planning at the Tri, and went home to spend some time with Al & Cathey... And the OILERS WON 4-1

WE ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS!!!
STANLEY TIME BABY!!!

Friday-
ROUND TABLE-- I mean.. ZONE CONFERENCE!

Had some trainings in the morning by President, I don't really remember them, because the wilderness was loud (yes, we were outside) and the fact that I was late and got to ride a 4 by 4, was also very distracting.

It was the 5k ZC, That I walked and got 27.07 (it mightve only been 1 of the 2 laps... but that's not important)

Then we had sports time afterwards, many people playing volleyball, but I just hung out with Elder Adams!

Did some fun games (almost got some serious rope burn with getting squeezed, but I avoided that), had lunch (almost sat at a table with a bunch of Sisters, but didnt)

Did some trainings, really loved Willie & Ospina's Ratatouille one.. (my mind is too small to remember... oh! It was Companionship Study! (I didn't just ask my companion)

Great day overall, then bought Elder Adams ice cream! (I think im forever bound to this black-hole of a deal)

Then we helped at a Rodeo Service Riding those horses!!!
(Or concessions, but it was still very fun)

Saturday-
We helped Sis. Christensen with her yard more!

Had dinner with the Davison's!
With some delicious dessert!!

Then we went to our service back at the Rodeo! From about 5-8:15

There were very nice and fun people there helping out the food stuff,

I've also been reading the testament of Old

Sunday- Fast Sunday

And we talked about brownies during testimony meeting... (I don't think bishop was amused)

Dropped off bred to the Olsen's & our friends

Had dinner with the Bishop's!

Then rushed to a priesthood meeting (It is Good)

And had 3 ice cream sandwiches (Elder Matthews supported me in this decision) 1 for me, 1 for my Dad, and 1 for my brother (since they weren't there, I had to take one for the team!!)

But we went home and made cookies

FHE was on geese (or goose's, I wont judge)

And "possibly saw aurora's" (we didn't see any.. 😞)

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
