The days set sail!

The Days Set Sail!

Today I have to tell you something very important. I've had a long time to think about this and I think it's finally time to tell you. The Black Jack Cherry Ice-cream, isn't Ice-cream it's frozen yogurt. I know my dad may disown me from this, but I had to tell the truth!

Anyway, we started the week with interviews with the president, he told me that I'll be the next mission president!

We did a lesson with our friend, and it lasted 2.5 hours, but he seemed intent on being baptized after reading the book of mormon! Then we had Zone Conference!!
Many fun trainings! And we got volentold for a service for the next day.

We went to that service, which was a catholic place, kinda weird but other members were there volunteering so it was fine. Then we found 2 people! And got others interested in church tours!

We stopped by someone who wanted to learn more, he lives in Hope Mission, but has an actual apartment (so we could baptize him). We also ran into someone else wanting to go to church there.. we are taking over. We also helped Kevin move a TV into a different house!

Deep Freeze Festival!!!!!
We got there at 11am, and we were posted up at the log sawing area. The logs and saws did not arrive until like 12:15, so in that time we just wandered around find and seeing many other missionaries! We were to be there from 11am to 3:30pm and let me tell you, it was cold like -17°f cold. But we saw other fun things happen like an Alpaca named Padro (he's very fluffy). The Festival didn't become very popular till near the end of our shift, but before the end, came some loud noise, and a cooked pig being carried by your one and only Zone Leader, Elder Freeman!!!! And Elder Norman his companion! After that we got our "lunch" and I attempted to eat pea soup... it didn't go well, I am still 100% allergic to peas.

Sunday was average and we went to a members home and had homemade enchiladas and cake! (Something my mother won't send me)

For Elder Alger, Bonnie Doon is going down, and Downtown District is rising up!

Anyway, peace out Homies

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
