2 Sacrament Meetings

 2 Sacrament Meetings

Yo what's up my people of the Gulf of America! Today is another email with your boy (Elder) Dabling!!!

Last Monday were starting the week off good with a trip to West Ed, except this time we had to wear proselytizing clothes :(
But regardless it was lots of fun! And we went to Lululemon twice which is a record for me... also it's like 20 something dollars cheaper.. here...
We had dinner at the Thomas's and it was amazing!

Tuesday! Now I don't like counting how long I've been out because it makes it seem longer, but I've surpassed my 3 months Mark!!!!
But we finally started a weekly service! FINALLY!!
But anyway today was different,

It all started in the summer of 1972 ~~(flashback moment)~~
wait a second..

Nah it started at about 11am, when our lesson got postponed to later in the evening and so we hoped on the LRT to downtown to get to an orientation for our weekly service (which started at 12) and then we had to speedily walk the rest of the 15 minutes to the place. After the orientation that lasted 30 minutes, we had about 1.5 hours till our service started. So "we" chose, CHOSE, (I did not get a choice) to walk 35 minutes to the hospital (hmph 😡) to give a friend a blessing.
Anyway 10 minutes into walking, a car honked at us and pulled over, so as the Law Abiding Missionaries that we are, we carefully cross the street and see what he wants. He asked us if we wanted a ride (and so I'm currently writing this locked in a basement SoS)

Nah that would be funny tho. He was a member from an area a bit farther away called Greisbach, and drove us to the hospital which saved us SO MUCH TIME. We got there talked to her a bit, then had to start walking home and hit every single crosswalk within 15 seconds of getting there, so we were able to get back to the service just in time. MIRACLES ARE OUT THERE!

Wednesday!
We were helping some friends move into Conners Hill ward, that was interesting (they don't know how to prep things to be move in, the things weighed easily upto 50-100lbs.. idk how we did it).
We had another DC as per usual, and got gifts of Motivation to keep us working. I was given Ice-cream 😊, Elders Richards, Hobson, and Thunell know me so well!

I also finally got some packages especially a well awaited letter from my lovely Grandma! Thank you!
Then we had a lesson which honestly will probably be dropped. Then did dinner with the Fernhouts!

Thursday!
I had my last Mentor Session woo! But before the Session we had a lesson! (It went... well.) As we were walking back to the car E. Pace forgot his bag, so we went back, and he ran into someone willing to give their phone number! Then we got his bag and made it back only 5 minutes late to the Session!
Then we went to sister Hampton's house and had Shepherds pie and carrot cake! *chefs kiss*

Friday!
We had an amazing meal at the Mo's and had Dumplings and Ice-cream. Then on the way home we fought about Ice-cream flavored Dumplings & Dumplings flavored Ice-cream, and whoch one Mochi is.

Then did a service for 2 hours helping a restaurant move out (lots of heavy lifting) and being a wind breaker to the people

Then we went home and prepared for exchanges happening that night!

Saturday!
I was in a familiar place, but it wasn't home. So I got up had what ever I found in the fridge which was eggs and fruit bread and continued to explore my surroundings. Throughout the day I was with a fella (Elder) that I remembered in the back of my mind, but who knows. We put 2 people on baptismal date and was able to share a fire testimony. We also went to costco and I got a hotdogs for $1.50 or close to $.75 in usd. At the end of the day I realized I going home and all memories came back into my mind :) The End.

Sunday!
Our friend Viacheslav went to church!!!
We also went to 3 sacrament meetings as a friend was late and showed up at Connor Hill's ward.
And got feed by the Bennett's

Notes:
Sorry this is late, we had dinner and a Very productive p-day of wasting time!
And it's a lot...

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
