Meep (great title, I know)

 Meep (Great Title, I Know)

How does life work?

So how my life is just getting started, but how is yours going? Hopefully it's continuing on forward.

Tuesday! was a pretty average day. But, we went over to a members house and had MAPLE SYRUP PORKCHOPS!!!! and The BEST flavor of ice cream I will probably ever find!!! Black Jack Cherry, it's soooooo GLORIOUS, also I probably said this once, or twice, but ice cream here is really creamy. And so I'm starting to Like it here! [Besides the prices..]

Wednesday! On that day I learned a valuable lesson, "it's not you, it's me" I initially never enjoyed companionship study, and thought it was more on the the person I was with.. but 'parently if you change your attitude towards something to make it more positive, you'll enjoy something for once.. who would've guessed!?
Also we had District Council and got the prize for doing 30 invites (I'm talking it home with me)
It was also an average day, besides the AP's not letting us go to a dinner that was 14 minutes away, (and out of our area, but that's besides the point)

Thursday! Today was a great day! Some may even say "A great day to be a missionary!" We had a lesson at 9am with a guy named Mohamed and we weren't sure if he'd show up, but he did show up eventually. It was a very interesting lesson and all was translated through text Google translate.. so not a lot was actually taught..
But then I had my 3rd to last mentor session (as a trainee), so it's looking bright!
Now when we went downtown that day, we got 4 peoples phone numbers, and they also showed interest in learning more, so MIRICLES ARE OUT THERE CHAT!

Friday! Was an awesome day! We did exchanges with one of the Zone Leaders! And Elder Freeman came to FH, we had 2 lessons that day and 2 possible finds!
We did those lesson, and taught the necessary principles and gave some commitments, and got 2 new finds! It was also the first overnight exchange!! Overnights are so much fun! Too bad those darn Manderin elders doing do Overnights...
Jk I love you Elder Hobson!
And Elder Freeman the goat 🐐  participated in the challenge as a great ZL does like a True Brother!

Saturday! It snowed.. lots (to what I'm used to)
It was a pretty normal day, but we went to a member's house the Noad's and they both served in Portugal, and that's where they met. Incase there is any missionary reading this while in Portugal.. focus on your missionary purpose.

Sunday! We had 6 people that said they would go to church! And only 2 came, but that 2 more then a bad Sunday! We also started the new meal calendar system, since we have 2 sets of elders in 1 ward. We were just splitting a calendar for that ward, but President Pierson told us to have 2 separate calendars; and we listen to our mission leaders like the good missionaries we are! And I don't know why it ain't electronic, but what ever floats the boat.
Then we went to dinner with the Bectells, and they are Brand New, moved in last Saturday and already feeding us, they are on top of things... good note Feed the Missionaries! Even Lunch! They will except it! It take a little money from you, and gives them a filling meal!

Monday! P-day! We were going to play volleyball, but then someone just had to be fixing the chapel, so we couldnt use the gym so we had biscuits and gravey, and played Mafia (missionary approved)
Surprisingly I don't think we're going shopping this week, maybe because the mission doesn't know how to pay us on the correct time..

Anyway, I also have read 2 very good talks this past week. 'I Believe in Angels' by Carlos A. Godoy, 2020 GC, and 'The Things of my Soul' by Ronald A. Rasband 2021 GC. There are many good details in these talks and much that can be learned from. What are 10 things that matter most to you?

Hope you find this week to be just as great or better then last week!

- Elder Dabling (the one and only)

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
