March 17th- ZONE CONFERENCE!!!

March 17th- ZONE CONFERENCE!!!

Monday-

We played wall ball & Secret Hitler with the district which was a lot of fun.. except for the fact I was always blamed as a facist, so I never got to do anything.. but still had fun listening to the chaos!

We got PRIME TIME!!!! FINALLY after 10 MONTHS, it was super delicious! And tried a "dirty soda" place... why its called a dirty soda.. I got no clue.

Called family, and we had dinner at my First Ever High-school Basketball game!!! I didnt know who I was rooting for, but I figured it out eventually.

Tuesday-
Today was going to be a normal day, but we ended up spending most of it trying to find a weekly service. For some reason they require a criminal background check, which we are not able to do...

Got DQ, and went to Andy's!! (Even got him one!)

Had dinner at the Plowman's and had Buttered Chicken and Key Lime Pie!!

Wednesday-
Im gonna try and stop saying just knocking and the normal work, so ill say 'missionary stuff happened' instead 😁

We had a lesson with Dakota, and hes been taught everything, and knows he needs to be baptized. But has his family holding him back! But a very cool dude indeed!

Also had a lesson with Jessie, who we invited to church (spoiler, she didnt come)

We had dinner with the Anderson's and legitimately had an Ab workout from laughing so much, such an fun family with added chaos!

Thursday-
We got Payed! Im no longer broke! (Again)

We had a lesson with Shirley, did Missionary stuff in the cold, and did a member lesson in which afterwards Elder Robinson v2 got dragged by a dog while doing stopbys as he agreed to take it on a "walk"

Friday-
ZONE CONFERENCE!!! (With Sherwood Park, Beaumont, and Gateway Missionaries)

I spent most of the day with Elder Nelson, Adams, and Garrett, (plus a little bit with Elder Lott). Also talked with Willie!
(I also photo bombed a picture of some sisters, so all in all a good day)

After we had to rush home and have a lesson with Andy!

Saturday-
We got up early to have interviews!! Afterwards we exchanged with the ZL's and we replaced Robinson v2 with Letourneau, it was good to get to know him better. Rather then just knowing his cousins in the Forest Heights ward..

Had a good, but short lesson with Bro. Jardon, and missionary stuff! But found 4 people to teach today!!

Sunday-
Had church, and afterwards we helped out with a ministry assignment for Bro. Plowman!

We found Amanda, and drove out to Gibbons to have dinner with the Wood's. Which we had a great Homemade Spaghetti and delicious Angel Food Cake!

Monday-
Sadly it was not Pday 😢

We did missionary stuff, and had a lesson with Andy!!!!

And we also had dinner with the Moore's and had some Welsh pancakes, and AMERICAN 🦅Biscuits and Gravy! 🦅

Ending with a bucketload of Stopbys

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Nature Walks by the River

Nature Walks by the River Hi.  Invite your friends! (To something, maybe my emails??) Monday We went Thrifting for our District sports.... But we got Costco! Woo! Then went shopping woo! We had dinner at McDonald's and got a kids Happy meal toy which was a Minecraft Bee! Buzz buzz! 🐝 Tuesday We went to a service, and our weekly service had us make cookies and help with pudding! Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today.. But we got Krispy Kreme donuts for District Council  +5 points for District Leader! After collecting the donuts, but before the Council comes forward to decide who has to leave the island... We went on a little lunch excursion with the Manderin Elders Harris &...
