Andy is Amazing!

Andy is Amazing!

Monday-

We drove into Sherwood Park (not Peak) and dropped off the car for a new Windshield. Then had to walk a mile or so back to the church building, in which I got a subway sandwich for lunch/ breakfast.

A few hours later the Zone Leaders picked us up and took us the Funeral for a member's brother. It was at a Funeral Home, and we were the Priests in charge... luckily I only had to say a prayer, Rickenbabe gave a 10-15 minute sermon, and Robinson v2 was a Pallbearer.

After the Funeral, our ride (the Zone Leaders) were 20 minutes out, so we took a 5 minute journey to Costco!

We eventually got picked up, and went to the church to play volleyball! The better team won! (It was my team. Sister Willardson, Sister Payne, Elder Butler & Elder Dabling)

At the end of the day we got our car back and left for home, where we called family!

Tuesday-
We had housing inspections and did my bed the nicest I've ever done all mission! And they went through and said we did a good job! They also said that they were our 'Ministering Parents' and not Inspectors telling us whats right and what wrong.

After we left for a Tea Party! (Don't worry it was 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint' approved) We had Mint hot chocolate, and Root Beer cookies!

Later in the day we went over and shoveled Andy's driveway and talked to him for a bit!

We did a member lesson and they gave us some appetizers. Some more knocking and dinner, and another member lesson with an less active family to end the night.

Wednesday-
We had District Council, and played a game called "Ask questions to try to teach the person about our purpose as missionaries while blindfolded for some reason game"

Had a member lesson with the Batemans who fed us some appetizers, then later on had another member lesson with a less active family, who is learned the husband also has a nut allergy!!! Were best friends.

And finished off with some stopbys.

Thursday-
We all woke up at 8am, no one woke up. I blame Robinson v1.

Dropped the car off at Kal Tire, and we walked to Walmart to do a little shopping and to do daily contacts.

We did breakfast and haircuts in the apartment, and had a lesson, but it didn't end up happening so a member lesson happened instead.

Missionary work happened

Had dinner at the Hardick's and heard some LEGENDARY mission stories from the Husband (Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission) & Wife (Canada Montreal Mission)

And weekly planning.

Friday-
Tested out some gift cards that were given to us from other missionaries, and surprisingly some actually have money on them!

Spent some time at Andy's and he said he pictures me to look like Beaker from The Muppets (after I told him I had red hair)

We knocked up in Gibbons, and was going to stay up there longer but an old dot called us and told us that she needed help. So we went over and had a lesson with her, since she wants to start coming back to church.

Saturday-
-After lunch we did some knocking before our member lesson with Bro. Jardon (always learn a lot of the gospel and meaningful things for me)
-we changed into our suits for the Adult Session of stake conference, which we could only stay till the end of Andy's talk about his conversion story.
-had dinner with the McClung's which the husband had some... interesting opinions..
-did some stopbys and headed home, and was home for about 5 minutes until Rizzenbach had a prompting to check on our friend Wayne.
He wasn't answering, but went home and finished the night.

[I'm to lazy to switch this day into my normal format]

Sunday-
We got to Stake Conference early and talked to a couple people before sitting down. We were in the back sitting next to Andy & Bro. Plowman, so I was really Enduring to the End of when I could get off that metal chair.

After we got to talk to President & Sister Matheson, he says im just his absolute favorite and am absolutely perfect 👌

*For Legal reasons, this is a joke*

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
