Feb 2nd - A War of the Coolest New Mexican

Feb 2nd - A War of the Coolest New Mexican

Monday-

Nothing much happened, had a guy check our door and stove, so pretty good.

Tuesday-
We went out and helped the Fallows (a member) set up some furniture!

Did some unsuccessful stopbys, turns out when its cold outside no one really wants to open the door...

Went to A&W for dinner! And we helped out with ESL, which normally we just host the zoom and do the slides. But this time we were asked to help... 😐
I bearly know my own language.

And got some ice-cream afterwards!

Wednesday-
Did some packing for an exchange with Peace River. A long-ger exchange.

Had District Council! We didnt end shoet this time, and had some fun activities!

Afterwards finished packing, and headed out to exchange. We get gas and I buy some very delicious slices of pizza at an Esso! And a member gave me a slight discount!!

And headed to PR. (Meanwhile, HL rushes back to High Level to do a lesson)

Got to unpack a little bit and did calls at the church!

Thursday-
Headed off to the Food Bank to help out, but when we got there it seemed they had enough help. But we waited a little bit and then managed to help fill some orders.

After the Food Bank, we went to DQ and got the amazing Red Velvet Blizzard!!! 🥰😋

Went to the church and did Comp Study there. We then headed to Grimshaw and had a lesson with Mary (who was smoking a LOT of weed... my head hurt for a while after..)

And met with Barry, who likes to have normal conversations..

Headed back to town and knocked a small row of houses next to the frozen river!

For dinner, we had McDonald's and a phone lesson with Craig, in which after we headed back home!

Friday-
Not as fun day..
We did some knocking and stopbys, along with calling people.

But we did have steaks for dinner! And they were very good!

During dinner Freezing rain happened for a couple of hours..

And we also played a game called 'Phase 10', pretty fun game. Kinda like Uno, but with more responsibility.

Saturday-
We had our Zones' housing coordinators come and im not sure that they understood the aspect of exchanges, as they asked me about things that I couldn't answer as it wasnt my stuff.

But they took us out to eat, and after we went to the church for some calling. Then headed to a Campfire dinner with the Diesel's.

I also might've started a War.... on who the best New Mexican is, and me and Elder Pearce were going at it through Messenger Notes, and then Sister Moss got added in, so... all ill say is pay attention to the notes, and be at Transfers at 3pm @ the south parking lot...

Back to the dinner, they also had (as Crum said) "a redneck potato cannon". Is it against standards to have one????
*asking for a friend..

When all that was finished we headed back to town and did a call with a member at home!

Sunday-
Church happened, and I played Testimony Bingo! Sadly no bingo today 😞

Later in the day we headed out to a delicious dinner of Waffles! And got bacon as dessert! They also gave us a jar of fresh cream to make fresh whipped cream!
And it lasted a good 2 hours, the best kind of dinners!

And had an interesting FHE to say the least... idk what the FHE's these days are anymore.

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
