Feb 16 - I have a Valentines Date!

Feb 16 - I have a Valentines Date!

Monday-

Today was a nice relaxing day, we had Timmies, and went to the church and our apartment :)

Tuesday-
Today is Rosemarie's Baptism!!!! Wooo!! And we almost had to do it twice!!! Woo!!

But we spent the whole day setting it all up, and apparently the water was a little too hot, but blame Jesclard on that one.

We almost had a technicality issue with us not baptizing her with her middle name, but turns out its fine, and we confirmed her with her middle name. So at least God can figure it out..

Thanks to the Drury's, the Hinman's, Bro. Davies, and the online support of Elder Charles!!

Wednesday-
We had a great District Council meeting and an amazing Kahoot by the FSJ sisters, where I almost got podium...

After, we went to the Woman's Shelter and helped shovel their walkway to a shed, got some dinner at Timmies, and headed home!

Did some referral calls, nothing cool there :(
And i cooked a steak for 2nd dinner!

I also asked someone to be my Valentines! And they said Yes!

Thursday-
Not a whole lot happened pretty normal day, calling, and stopbys. How ever we did finally get payed! (I had $0.35) and so we went to Subway!

And someone else asked me to be their Valentines, and I accepted theirs! So.. Now I have 2 Valentine Dates!

Friday-
Im sadly not writing this day of, and forgot what I did today. Which probably meant it was boring.

Although, I do remember some old Yellowknife missionaries contacted me about this guy (who were already had previous contact with) and set up a lesson for tomorrow.

Saturday-
Today is Valentines day! And do you know what that means? It means that I spend the day alone because nobody loves me.. 😒 (just kidding, there's at least 5 people that love me)

We had a lesson with Jerome (the guy from yesterday) over zoom. Went over the Restoration, and read Alma 53 with him.

He did say when he could get baptized, so thats something for next Transfer I guess.

And finished off with Subway... my Christmas Gift cards are coming in handy!

Sunday-
Soooo... something happened. We had church! And the Davies, President Barrett were there along with the Brinks! πŸŽ΅For the first time in FOREVER~🎡

Had a good, but slightly awkward 2nd hour with the YM. And we talked about getting the Brink boys the Priesthood if they wanted it, and talked a little bout CFM(Come Follow Me)... idk what Pres. Barrett was expecting but I dont read CFM as a missionary...

Afterwards we went home and cooked some food. Did some studies, im currently starting D&C, not like last year was completely focused on it or anything..
(See I don't read CFM)

And Departing Testimonies for FHE this transfer!

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
