Idk what to call this -Aug 25th

We are back. With another week, with some great work, and some interestingly fun moments!

Monday-
Okay, I know i say every Monday is boring out here. But legitimately, we didn't leave the house till dinner.. which was at 6pm... and yes, I've already watched every movie/ film available on Gospel Stream.. and no I'm not watching the Joseph Smith movie for a 293rd time.

But I did get to email more buddies, and reignite friendships again! And got to talk to my family for another week... you'd think it get boring, but when I'm spiritually missing out on these things, like working on the brick path for my family's hot tub. There's a surprising lot of things to talk about.

Oh, and we had Dinner with the Kozak's and we ate Layna's Zucchini baby (long story), it wasn't cooked long enough, but i ate all of it to be the good missionary that I am!

Then we called a grey dot, and Cillero did a short lesson with him, and we found him!

Tuesday-
After p-study, we got out and went to Walmart.. definitely not because we forgot to go shopping yesterday.. Got some essentials... then went to our favorite spot. TIMMIES!!!!!!!!!

After all that we had lunch, and worked on the 6 list. And we went to do some stopbys before visiting Sis. Johnman, when we visited her she gave us a bunch of treats as per usual (I'm considering telling her, that nuts ain't my favorite thing..)

We did some Unicorn Knockin.
(Yes dad, with real unicorns)

Then we did another stopby and actually got in contact with her! She only spoke Spanish so we called the Spanish Elders (wrong set lol, but its fine)
And they taught her a little bit, and we'll be getting her a Spanish Book of Mormon. We also found her son, who speaks both English and Spanish, and is searching for a church 🤔

We did more stopbys and Elder Cillero finally got to talk to a guy here that imports a few vehicles to fix them up and resell them!

We changed out of pros, and went to dinner which was essentially a YM's campout... about 8 children running around, with 2 adults, in the middle of a forest with hotdogs and smores!

Came back home and did some calling!

Wednesday-
This morning we helped out with the Food bank and the church to gather food items. We stood outside the grocery store and gave people a shopping list essentially!

Surprisingly, a bucket load of people actually donated with a few donating money.. im really impressed for the small town of Drayton.

Then we skipped District Council, as we got the 76th Annual Riverbend Hunger Games to WIN!!!!!
So we went finding instead! Did some knocking and such, but no luck as we were actually in DC.. 😔

Did some stop bys before hitting dinner, and let me say. When the sisters (from Hinton) said they had a storm pass through, I did not think it was gonna be on top of us less then 30 minutes after we finish our meeting...

Anyway we had dinner with the Gorbahn's, at the River Rock Grill here in Drayton!

Then had a volunteer service meeting, for something fun next week! Then went to the church to helpout with a CTR class activity, except we were 15 minutes early so Cillero helped the Gorbahn's pull weeds while I called people!

After a bit of time, no one shows up, and we headed to some more knocking (no success), and went home for some calls, along with a nice video call with Elder Brown! (Not the crazy one in Brazil, although that would be cool)

Thursday- ZL-Exchange
We woke up, and got ready for the exchange.

Not really sure what totally happened, but 0 lessons, and many stopbys. We also had lunch Wendy's.

Had Eggs for dinner, and later in the night, we hit up the Sauna, and Elder Waite actually laughed at my jokes, and then we all laughed at Elder Waite's 'L-shaped' couch story & More!

Friday-
Today was a chill day, in a broad sense. We exchanged back, got ready and went to timmies. We had a phone call lesson with Gina, and headed home after that.

Had lunch, with our 30 minute library service... except it turned into 2 hours... somehow.

We did some phoning to try and get our friend to the Pig Roast tonight, but all were busy :(

We had a lesson with Morgan, he's very catholic.. but seems a little interested in what we have to share, but also has questions that he wants answered about our religion.

We had a block party, which we didn't actually explore all that much, as we met Gina in person and taught her a little bit (she owns a shop 2 minutes from where we live and has pork buns!!!)

Headed over to Pig Roast (got no pictures of the pig)

Stayed till 8:30 (started at 6) because it was a community event, and planned a fun day with Bro. Hewitt on Monday! 😏

Headed home, listened to the Live music outside, and went to nappy time!

Saturday-
For sense of time, and actually sending this out today (Monday). We just did a bunch of knocking throughout the day, with some
 lessons.

We had dinner out at the Wolsey's, of just leftovers.

Sunday-
We had Thomas come to church finally! And he seemed to enjoy it!

We gave him a Book of Mormon as member left to drop him off.

We did some inactive member stopbys, and in the evening had a lesson with Daryl.

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today..
