Elder Cillero Found His Wife - Aug 4th
Monday-
We did nothing. Literally. Nothing. First p-day in an Outlying area, and i felt like doing Nothing. But on the plus side, I did figure out that we can go to the mountains again!
And we can also do some other things with missionaries in a technicality / Grey area!
We went to the store and I just about managed to buy 1 thing, now if have $0.16.. but we continued to drop that off then head to dinner which was at the Church, and we had Fish & Chips! And raspberries+cream & brownies!
Then we did some stopbys, which worked pretty well, and went home and started a puzzle i found! (I don't think it has all the pieces 😢)
Tuesday-
Still a per usual morning. And on the back home for lunch, we helped out Bro. Nickle move his homemade greenhouse... I didn't carry it right.. I had purple fingers afterwards for a little bit..
Had lunch, of which I still haven't taken a picture of (maybe one day)
We went to the church and worked on the '6 list' (supposedly it helps with inactive member work, but I'm not sure yet)
Did some missionary work, including calling, and stopbys. Stopped at this info dot, and got to stop, sit down and chat with him for a bit, he wasn't interested as he was pental-costal, but he loved chatting with the missionaries!
As we were going back to the car, Cillero said that we should knock this one door, and im pretty sure he found his future wife..
After some more stopbys, we got gas, then traveled to Breton. Where our dinner was, and where we also did some knocking.
Had dinner with the Miller's, with burgers!
Traveled back, with more Stopbys and calling to do!
Wednesday-
We had lunch, and i got a picture! (I'll add it below, hopefully) We texted sooooo many members today to try to get member lessons, so we can survive from the Capitol, and we luckily got 3 member Lessons for the future!
We got to the church to set up / get ready for District Council, and to fulfill my sanity. Had a fun? Uh not overly boring district council... in-person is 100x better.
Had a lesson with Daryl, and actually taught him something! Then headed to dinner!
The Ethridge's are amazing and very fun! They even have family in Rio Rancho Stake! (I think their last name is Derrick or something... not positive.)
Did a stop by, and taught this kid some important life details, like Jesus Christ!
Thursday-
Normal morning, and lunch. Helped out with the Warming Hearts, just mopping and sweeping.
Did a lesson with Sis. Johnman (a recent convert). Got snackies!!
We did weekly planning, which went decent. Then some more 6 listing
More stopbys (its all we ever do besides calling)... before going to dinner with the Giddy's who are South African, and the grandma is going back tomorrow (friday), so i told her to keep an eye out for Elder Dibble (MTC) :)
Friday-
Back to lots of service...
Helped a member, a Henricksen, move into the townhouse on the other side of our housing.
After lunch, we helped out this lady for 30 minutes... might go back just to teach the people living on her yard.
Had 2 member lessons, one with the Curry's (full redhead family, kinda insane) and one with the Nickle's (fun fact, I met them in downtown back in my 3rd Transfer, I talked to them about Elder Norman and his Coke addiction...)
More work... will it ever stop... not. Unless my companion happens to get another concussion.....
But why would that ever happen...
Had dinner with Elder Dabling & Cillero.
Then helped some lessons actives move into the most buuzghi (idk how to spell it) trailer home i have ever seen...
And more work..
Saturday-
Did some temple/mission prep, prepping, since we teach 2nd hour 1st & 3rd Sundays
LOTS OF STOPBYS, help.
Dinner at the Wolsey's, got to see a lot of people there. They do giant groups of people around their lake, and pirate ship, and do weekly combined dinners! This time we got to see a 1829 Book of Mormon, someone found in their missionary apartment 25 years ago.
Did more stopbys. Along with standing on someone's front porch for 35 minutes, as we find this guy.... I don't like standing in 1 place for a long time, I don't got that Domike build.
Sunday-
We went to church, got there 30 minutes early to try to set up zoom. Bro, doesn't know how microphones work..
He was also a little distraught that 2 friends (that confirmed) didn't show up... but that's just the work!
Had our lesson with Dale Cancel for another day, did some stopbys, and drove an hour to the Gorbahn's for dinner, it is good, and I was starving. They also had vanilla ice-cream with either root beer or Carmel in it.. I can't decide, but may have to get some...
Elder Cillero also legitimately almost drove us off the road... because he blinked and fell asleep for a minute....
Drove back home, and did more stopbys and our other lesson canceled, and went home did some calling and passed a crazy lady off to Wetaskiwin.... Good Luck!
