Uh, Demonic Doll?

Uh, Demonic Doll?

So, I got transferred.... woo?! I'm now in Drayton Valley

Monday- 7/21
I'm not sure what happened, just a bunch of chaos. But we got transfer news and we got pink washed.. (if you don't know what that means.. look it up) but we continued on the day and did virtual golfing with Burkhardt, Ford, Weber & Olsen, which was a lot of fun!

Then Burkhardt & Weber went golfing, and we somehow ended up at West Ed with us 4 elders, and 4 other sisters, Clark, Burrows, Broadhurst, and Weeks. Idk what happened the rest of the day.

Tuesday-
We just did a bunch of packing, saying bye to people and fishing..

Had a bucketlaod of people over to eat all of our food to leave nothing left for the sisters, but we did leave behind the brother Bean!

Wednesday-
Transfers!
We got Chipotle with Wilde & Woolley, then got to Transfers and I saw a lot of people including Alger, Richards, Harris, Pace, Andersen, and Hobson!

After a little bit of hanging around, we got on the road to drop off Cillero's stuff, unpacked a bit, drove 45 minutes to pick up my stuff in Stony, then drove back.

Back at home, we were exploring and Cillero touched a creepy doll after looking at its face, and both of us heard a screech come from it, so Cillero immediately dedicated the apartment, and called a bunch of elders to try and figure out where the doll came from, then eventually ended the night by calling President.

What a nice start to the transfer, and now Elder Cillero gets goosebumps every time he isn't near me, so I guess I'm a Spiritual Giant... A protector from Satan (if you will)

Thursday-
Woke up at 6:30am, still not enjoying it.

Got out the house, went to the 2nd closest Timmies. Did comp study, then went to the church where a member introduced us to all that wad happening, like running the zoom for church, and everything else thats important.

After we went home for lunch, (should take some pictures, but keep forgetting, Elder Cillero is amazing at making food! Also an amazing person!)

After we did our weekly service and just did some sweeping and mopping. Had weekly planning/ organizing the apt. And i had a much needed nap during it!!

Did some stop bys, and in the first 3 houses, we got 2 finds and a "come back", so legendary start! We baptizing people this transfer! (And I'll be 1 step closer to getting cookies from Samoan Elder Hemmert)

Had dinner with the Perrett's! And shared a good message!

Met some members! And even talked to an inactive member!

Drayton is starting to be a glorious area, and I'm only 1 day into it!

Friday-
We woke up again, its not as bad.
Went back to timmies again, and got a 20 pack of timbits this time! They were great!

After we went to the church to do some "6-listing"

Had lunch 😋

Did a library service, and then went to a funeral for a recent convert.

Did some later finding, and went to dinner at sis. Wolf's.

Then more finding in which we got a find!

Saturday-
The morning is all the same, met with Elder & Sister Bidulka, our housing coordinators, and they dropped off our new (working) microwave and rice cooker!

Then we went to Walmart so they could buy us a new pan while they were there. Then they took us out to lunch, in which i had a Texas BBQ burger!

After we had a service, with putting a small boat on a members car, then got fed some ice-cream!

Had a great lesson with Dale, with Bro. Huber!

Did more finding (isn't it exciting!)
Had dinner with the Wolsey's, and turned out dinner was at 5pm... not 5:30, but its fine, they only seemed a little annoyed, especially since we were picking up the food........

Did some phone call lessons and went to sleep!

Sunday-
First time in was early to church for a while!!! (Don't tell prezzy)

Elder Cillero was jumping for joy, since some Kiwi's have moved into our ward!

Attempted to help the Nickle's with a service, but we ended up missing since we were having important conversations at church

Did some studying time, then got driving to our dinner an hour away!

Did some stopbys in a town halfway to dinner, then continued onward!!

Had a good Keto dinner with the Gorbahn's!

Did some more stopbys and went home!

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
