We Spoke English!!!

We Spoke English!!

Hey people, its been a while. How does one see light?

We'll start off with Tuesday since I already said 5 words from Monday last week!
We started with a service that we took another elders place in so they could go to the temple. And it was a 30 minute drive..
But we were there from 9am to 1pm, and spent the time building tents.. it was not very warm tents, but it was a tent(s).
- Then after the already 4 hours of service, we then had our weekly service to go to and spend 2 hours there. And I cut many onions (I didn't cry, and the Chinese guy there congrajumalated me!)
Then had a questionable dinner, but continued on with the night.

Wednesday would've been transfers, if any of us got transferred.

We also went downtown, and then we had to go pick something up that was time sensitive, and I have a high center of gravity, so I fell multiple times while trying to keep up a pace with Elder Pace.. Anyway if I get a concussion later on, this had something to do with it. (Also the ground hurts, in case your wondering) and had dinner with the Pierson's, we had German pancakes!

On Thursday, we went to a service past Sherwood Park, for 3 hours so we are now at 9/10 hours of service "allowed" in a week. And we did.. something there.. I couldn't tell you what we did, but we did something I think. Then we went to Costco for some lunch, and they were out of Ice-cream (disappointed)
And we also went downtown (can you believe it? It's the only thing we do)
And we had dinner with the Oviatt's and had pancakes! (They like their breakfast food for everything but breakfast)

On Friday, we had an average day. Where we had lessons planned, and then they all fall through, but one didn't and it was a 45 minute phone call and it was interesting..

On Saturday, We spoke English!!
It started at 6:42am, from a phone call from a missionary, named Elder Harris.
Who asked us to change our, Definitely busy morning to teach English Class with them (for part of it) so they could go to a service! And so we accepted!
- We also went to Tanzen and saw Uptown district (not as cool as downtown)
And then had a "lesson" with a friend named Ryan, who reached out to us!
That lesson, wasn't a lesson, because bro was already baptized, and going to YSA. But had questions that he likes to ask missionaries, so we talked to him about the Bible, BOM, and temple for 2 hours.. it was fun and a nice change to the day!
Then we had dinner with the Noad's!

Then on Sunday, we did normal Sunday things.. like going to Tim Hortons and getting a donut- I mean doing a lesson.. yeah! Sadly that lesson didn't happen as they ghosted us :(
And later went to dinner to Sis. Lybbert's! Her and her 2 brothers all really like Zelda, a lot! And so for an hour we just talked about Zelda and all the games and consoles.. anyone like Zelda?

On Monday, we started the day by being at Macewan and doing Companionship Study there, then we eventually went back to the apartment were I almost died from Lunch :)
[(I'm not coming back that soon, I just got here) kinda joking with the dying part 😁]
We then went downtown again, walking around for 3 hours..
- Then we had a potential church tour, but it just turned to a weird interaction..

While waiting for our friend, a guy drives up, walks up to us (were thinking its our friend) we open the door. And he hands me a picture of jesus and says "here take this, i wont be needing it anymore" in a very rushed way. Then walks back to his car and leaves... very weird interaction... (idk what else to tell you, it's just weird)
Then we headed to dinner at Boston Pizza with a member from Elder Pace's area Barrhead.. (don't tell my District Leader)

Temperature: Low with wind chill was -38° (I can't wait for Summer, but also the days are getting longer so.. it's not all that bad).

Please send me emails I'm lonely.

Howdy Yall,  Monday- We played volleyball that day, though I didn't play to long because I got bored, but that's just me. Afterwards we played football (just catching and throwing it, no tackling) but I did injure my finger from that, it was purple & pale. (Now it's just fine, for the most part :) Then we went to the driving range, and I would've played more but my finger hurt and made it hard to grip the golf club. Eventually though, we made it home to chillax, and later we had dinner at the Szalovski's House (their Polish) After, we went to the church, and I scrolled through Google photos while, Elder Winder practiced the Cello. Then we went home called the Fam, and I enjoyed listening to some Normington Audios. Tuesday- Today we helped out a member, Sis. Christensen, with some weeding of her yard, And afterwards did some Celloing at a different members house. We had dinner at the Peterson's, who were right next to Wabamun Lake, which is the biggest lake...
