Tiny Chair?

Tiny Chair?

Hi! :)

How are you doing in your so called "winter" ?

☆☆These following events are essentially (maybe) word for word from my handy-dandy journal. If you think any of these words are incorrect or misplaced, please contact the author at Nathan.dabling@missionary.org
Otherwise enjoy this lovely email, inspired by me (the only Man from Albuquerque, NM to survive The Great White North)☆☆

Welp might need to start doing that to get the Peruvian Cops off my back.

But here is the week,
As a week sometimes starts on Monday, we will start with Thursday!
Nah I'm joking, I'm just so lonely... but here is
Monday

We did District Sports (it's called nothing else you hooligans) at 11:40, as the the members were using the church building for the National Holiday called Family day (week). *Fun Fact, Family day, lasts a week so that you can spend time with your family so you do get depressed in this winter! (Definition came from a member, don't blame me) So we went shopping then showed up 10 minutes late.
DS at 11:40. At one point there were 3 whol Districts at the church and so I was able to talk to other missionaries about some fun topics... (like cannabis in some chapstick that a missionary is using, yes it's an elder)

Ooooh i almost forgot, while we went shopping I got materials to make French toast :) breakfast is amazing!
Then I did phone calls to home, because at least some people occasionally love me.

We had Dinner at the Bennett's and they are amazing members they feed us like twice a month! Do better to feed the missionaries either with dinner! I know how many people are members on this list, do better.

But before dinner, we had Elder Burkhardt and Randall and they hungput for a bit of time..

Tuesday
We did our weekly service, went downtown. Got word that I have a package somewhere in the mission, I hope.
We had dinner with the Prince's!
And we went to bed
(Detailed day... I know)

Wednesday
I had to lead the area, to practice.. I guess
Had District Council, which was fun along with the Nachos we had (we cool like that)
And had dinner with the Champney's!
(Detail I know, I'm trying here, just prepare yourself for the next day)

Thursday
Leading again, uh..
It went a little better then yesterday.. but also pretty average day.
Had dinner with the Strong's, they have very chaotic children with one of them essentially speaking Hebrew (might be accurate the child is like 4 y/o)

Friday
Today went well! I was still Leading out the area but I was with Elder Andersen, on our exchange. We went to Wendy's / Tim Hortons *Fun Fact TimHortons is owned by Burger King... I'll probably need a therapist from that information, but luckily I already have one :) I think..
Then we definitely didn't buy food..
Anyway we went back to have Lunch* and Elder Burkhardt & Randall stopped by for a visit.. again.

We went downtown, again.. for the 9999th time, and found 2 people woo! They both speak french... less woo!

We had Dinner at the Forsyth's and had some delicious chicken and Lemon Squares mmmmmm yummy

Saturday
Felt like a certain Elder out here, standing constantly.
We had a church tour planned.. they ghosted us. Not cool. We went downtown for a little bit, then had a service from 3-8pm :|
But we got there early as we were told it starts at 2pm so we hung out in a McDonald's for about 45 minutes, a good use of time..
Then from about 3-5pm legitimately did nothing and talked to some other missionaries. Then the rest of the time I stood occasionally placing bred on a plate.

Then after the service it ended closer to 7:15, we tried to go bowling, but it was a 1.5 hour wait, so we didn't go. So we hung out at the apartment with Elder Burkhardt & Randall.

Sunday
Did Sunday things!
We went to church! Had ward conference which I didn't know was a thing.. I always payed attention back home :)
Did a member Lesson, and got lunch out of that
Took a nap (i think, or i passed out) (I'm finally old)
Had dinner at the Seguin's and had Burgers yummy 😋

(You remember that package I mentioned is somewhere in the mission, it probably still is, but I'm probably not gonna get it.. we should all pray that i get it, as I want those cookies)

UPDATE: I have the cookies now! But you should still pray that I find more cookies!

Anyway I'm surprised I wrote that in the morning today.. maybe some people can use it for FHE tonight.. (you know who you are) (I hear all things)

Also if you want this email sent in the language your either learning or speaking, I'm only available on 7am-9pm on Mondays to send emails (Busy Elder)

Pictures... maybe

OH man I almost forgot again.. silly me, so canadia, is very northern and cold right?
Well within 24 hours it switched from -10f to about 40f so for the next week.. till.. Sunday+ it's gonna be in the 40's!!!! It's essentially summer, until it's not.

It's a tiny chair, and I did barely fit in it 10/10 very comfy.

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Nature Walks by the River

Nature Walks by the River Hi.  Invite your friends! (To something, maybe my emails??) Monday We went Thrifting for our District sports.... But we got Costco! Woo! Then went shopping woo! We had dinner at McDonald's and got a kids Happy meal toy which was a Minecraft Bee! Buzz buzz! 🐝 Tuesday We went to a service, and our weekly service had us make cookies and help with pudding! Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today.. But we got Krispy Kreme donuts for District Council  +5 points for District Leader! After collecting the donuts, but before the Council comes forward to decide who has to leave the island... We went on a little lunch excursion with the Manderin Elders Harris &...
