Jan 12th - Dumb Ways To Die

Jan 12th - Dumb Ways To Die

Random Weekly-
As a missionary numbers are the most important part. If you dont get numbers then you are considered failing.

**[this is a joke, please dont hate me]**

Monday- A Not so "Normal P-day"

We Got Mail!
Nah, but we did get transfer news, and im staying, and im getting the Legend Elder Jesclard!! 🥳

We finally got our oil changed after 1.5 weeks of the oil light yelling at us!

Then we headed out on our p-day adventure, to Alexandra Falls! Located in the Northwest Territories (which is a part of Canadia)

So far on the adventure of cool things, we saw a Big Moose (and took a selfie)
"Should I go walkout to it?" [🎵 Dumb ways to die 🎵]

A little while after that we reached the 60th Parallel! And reached the 2nd Province ive been to!

Still going.... we reach Alexandra Falls! It was frozen over but we could still hear water going underneath!

Coming back we saw a salt house, so we stopped and checked it out, and around the side I saw something! (Picture at the bottom)
Then we headed back home!

Tuesday-
We called our referrals and found someone! And then had a lesson with Tenya!

Westergard packed up and we headed out the door, on the drive we got some great sunset pictures!

We met up with Peace River, and had dinner!

Then our friend Jerome called us from prison, and we found him too and are able to go meet him in a few weeks when he gets out!
He does live in Hay River though, which is 5 hours North, of High Level.. so it would be a drive!

Wednesday-
We headed out in the morning for the 5 hour drive, and it felt like a drive. We eventually pulled up to Transfers an hour late, and got to talk to more people, rip my boys, but I got an amazing picture with Cillero & Rasmussen!

The mission lost my package... 😢 Im working with the local leaders (ZL's & AP's) to Search and Rescue it!

Westergard's stuff wasnt gonna fit into Lee Ridge's car, so we drove it over and dropped it off. We then headed out with Jesclard towards Peace River!

There is a nice gas station (the nicest ive found in Canada) in Whitecourt, and it looks like a Maverick + they gave me free taffy for buying gas!!!

Got over to the Peace River and hangout with them for the night!

Thursday-
We called some referrals and managed to get a find! (Numbers, numbers, numbers)

We looking at 4 finds for High Level this week!

We went around and stopped by some people in the smaller towns around Peace River.

Friday-
We headed back up to High Level, and let Jesclard unpack.

We had lesson planned in the afternoon, but they never responded, so sad day.

Then some usual weekly planning, and getting out to find some service or community activities to do.

Saturday-
We went out and did some stopbys, showed Jesclard the church building.

Took some time writing my fabulous talk, and had a phonecall lesson with our friend Heather!

We got back to the apartment, and our water heater aint heating water...

Sunday-
We woke up, and it still ain't heating water, but we push on, and got ready for church!

Got there, and all of the youth and some adults from Peace River Branch were there!
And i gave a nice talk!

Had a potluck afterwards, then talked to a less active member, and started teaching his wife

Got home, did some studies and went out to help shovel Sister Drury's roof (we were definitely above 10ft)

So this is what I found next to the salt house... I decided to give it a test spin...

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Nature Walks by the River

Nature Walks by the River Hi.  Invite your friends! (To something, maybe my emails??) Monday We went Thrifting for our District sports.... But we got Costco! Woo! Then went shopping woo! We had dinner at McDonald's and got a kids Happy meal toy which was a Minecraft Bee! Buzz buzz! 🐝 Tuesday We went to a service, and our weekly service had us make cookies and help with pudding! Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today.. But we got Krispy Kreme donuts for District Council  +5 points for District Leader! After collecting the donuts, but before the Council comes forward to decide who has to leave the island...
