October 6- Northern Lights... Spotted!

 October 6- Northern Lights... Spotted!

Monday-

Well, once again, nothing exciting happened. Though we did have dinner with the Giddey's and it took a bit of time but we got to hang out at their house, so it was a nice 2 hour dinner (time well used, if you ask me)

Tuesday-
I got to hangout with Elder Lewis for the day! We did missionary work, and got to eat some ice-cream, and overall we had a great time! We had dinner with the Atwood's! It was kinda weird, but it was a good dinner with good dessert.

We got some pictures of the sunset, and stopped by Bruce.. idk why there was an info dot for Bruce saying to come back, he was not interested in the slightest.. but his wife was nice and let us into the cabin!

We went back to Drayton Valley, and hung out at the church, found some fun things from the earlier missionaries dating back to 2017!

Back at our apartment and in our after 9 time, an elder posted a picture of northern lights! So we looked outside and saw some of our own, and even drove out a bit out of town to see them with less light pollution!

Got some good pictures for how South we were!

Wednesday-
We exchanged back, and watched the P. Nelly Tribute Broadcast. Afterwards we did our study time and nap time.

After lunch and studies, we had a good District Council! With us all having fun, and an amazing training from Sister Bryan!

Did some knocking, and met Amy!

Had dinner, and did a CTR / Primary activity with Bro. Gorbahn about what we need to prep for being a missionary! We even got candy at the end of it!

Thursday-
We met with Elizabeth, and had some great treats!

Had the normal Thursday things, like Warming Hearts service and Weekly planning.

Met and had a lesson with Wayne, while he worked at Dollarama!

After dinner we traveled up to Evansburg and had a lesson with Robert, and the Johnson's. In which I got to go 1-on-1 with the little boy Cole! It was fun and I think i taught him to recognize the word Christ (as he's still learning to read!)

Friday-
We felt sick today, meaning Sealairo felt like he was dieing, and I felt like I had slight cold... (im used to it)

We had a lesson with Cheroney, and it was interesting.

We also had a great lesson with Paula and her Husband, which they seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed us, up until we started talking about General Conference and organized church... then the husband seemed iffy.

Had dinner with the Phipps, and I filled my self to the brim... on accident (Phillipino)

And we ended the evening off with actually meeting Mike, and having a good lesson with him!

Saturday-
We watched General Conference every session that day at the Nickle's, and Daryl even came to the evening session! He thought it was inspiring!

In-between sessions we went to the Hockey game service, and Sealairo even got to talk to Popcorn Girl!

And had an evening lesson with Wayne ar McDonald's! It seemed to go well, we invited him to General Conference with a member and he invited us to dinner Monday night!

Sunday-
We set up the morning session in the church for members to watch, as we went over to watch it at the Nickle's. We also had lunch there, being "tacos" it was really a burrito.

We left to head to the Gorbahn's, and watched the last session with them and the Stark's. The Stark's left and we had dinner with the Gorbahn's afterward.

We drove home, stopped by Sis. Nickle's for some ice-cream, and then went to stopby a lady, and did P-study.

We had FHE talking about General Conference, and my 3 favorites were William K. Jackson, Kevin G. Brown, B. Corey Cuveliar.

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...
