Oct 20- EY TONY!!

 Oct 20- EY TONY!!

 Monday-

Transfer news! Im staying another in Drayton Valley, and getting Elder Desmond, a fellow Redhead / Ginger!

Elder Sealairo is leaving me 😢 just to go to YSA.

Tuesday-
We watched the First Presidency Announcement, Woo!

Had a lesson with Daryl, and talked about it with Bro. Payne afterwards!

Did some knocking, and met Kevin! Who knows lots and has family in the church, but may be interested in looking into it a bit more! He also may be a WW2 veteran!

Had Dinner with the Johnson's, and also Sealairo said bye to them! Had Elk Steaks, and a good lesson on Temples! In which i attempted to keep Colt on track... it didnt work well.

Wednesday-
Woke up late... Oops 😬
Got ready and had THE BEST breakfast ive had by far on my mission (minus the whole grain bread)

Headed out to the City, and stopped by a member in Sherwood Park! Pulled up to Transfers playing the Avengers theme...
because why not.

Got to Sign Elder Willie's Tie that I gave him, hugged and said bye to, Richards, Alger, Winder, Williams, and Wies.
Also learned that Elder Weston is 8th Cousins once removed, and not on the side of my great Grandma Weston.

Talked to Elder Pearce, and Sister Moss (from Rio Rancho Stake) and we had a good conversation talking about our mutual friends, a conversation I did not think id be having on the mission... one of my favorite days because of that conversation!

Eventually left, and got ice cream, because it was on sale lol... $3 for 2 liters is a killer deal.

Then hit the road and unpacked a little and had dinner at the Church with the Stark's!

Also had a great lesson with Jacob (Jayke) Carter, who signed up on a referral and we were able to show him around the church and some members even got to explain family history to him!

Thursday-
So the morning was rough, but we did the lesson with the Johnson's so all is good!

Friday-
Uh... I felt like I was in a parallel universe where I never left the confines of my house, besides to go get medicine at 8:32pm that my Mission doctor told me to get.

Saturday-
So the morning was rough, but by mid afternoon I was feeling good enough to do some knocking, and we got back had spaghetti! Didn't eat much but it filled me up..

Did some stopbys and accidentally saw bishop playing basketball at the church with some young men!

Sunday-
No one showed up to church 😞

Well... except Junior (Tony, lol)
He wandered to church and all our members found him before us. But he didnt talk much so we had the after church potluck with him and then he dipped!

Had dinner with the Lybbert's and they made some amazing burgers!

This is the reference for Junior.. \/\/\/

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today..
