NEW YEARS!! WOOO...

NEW YEARS!!  WOOOO...

Hey-o!

How's it all going?

This week is has been quite delightful in it's own special way, with Christmas and new years.🥳🎉  🦄(it's a uni-corn 😁)

Also this email may be longer then normal,  not really sure. But onto the Week!

Monday was a pretty normal p-day

Tuesday has been a slight change, we have done some missionary work, but we also went to the Bonnie Doon mall to get some African ties (to increase chances of finding African people), then we saw some friends and talked to them. And now we are headed elsewhere to continue our missionary purpose, but also to help us enjoy the holidays!!
Then we have a 2 hour dinner with President Pierson's (part of the mission Presidency) with 8 other elders, as part of making sure all missionaries have dinner for Christmas Eve. [Special gift to those that like cars at the bottom] Then we played monopoly!! I lost, but didn't ditch my post half way through **cough cough* Elder Adams *cough cough**

Wednesday started with us sleeping in, woo!
Then I did a call with my family to open my presents. I'm glad everyone was there.. Jacob..
Then we went to breakfast at the Bishop's house (Oviattes) and there was Pie!!
Then we're did some more member stop-bys, and then headed over to Bishops again for dinner!!
The thing I've learned from today is that "Canadians have pie for breakfast for Christmas, and when others leave they shake 'hands' with their feet!"

Thursday
Boxing Day!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway we woke up! Miracles are out there! And then we did my little mentor meeting at 11, and then had lunch, and then finally we left the apartment when we had to go to district council at 2. But someone was 30 minutes late... and didn't get done till 4pm, then we headed back to get the car and go to our 5pm dinner with the Mo's !!!! It was Legendary, Chinese hotpot for the win! Then learned a Chinese game it took way longer then 10 minutes.. and we stayed for like 3 hours total.. anyway then we went home got a social media referral, who were calling back tomorrow Woo!

Friday
Today I realized that Christmas music is no longer playing on the radios... :(
But we were able to do a little bit of service today by helping someone move!

I might've forgotten to update this but not much happened on Saturday

But on Sunday we got 3 friends to show up to Church, Woo!! A new record! And we are all continuing lessons with them too!

Monday was sadly not P-day, and work kinda got done, had to ditch some street contacting half way through just to speedily run halfway through downtown to get to a lesson on time... not fun. But the lesson did go well, maybe.. and then we had dinner at a Kevin's house it was dope, taught a practice lesson with with him and he gave us some salmon!!!

Tuesday as new years eve, is also P-day as it's Temple Day!!! We did another endowment session, and took a Picture with our district (we didn't all plan to be there at the same time)

Then later tonight will be a fireworks show in downtown (Don't tell President, but the goal is to see how many things we can blow up🤫)[blame the Manderin speaking Elders if anything bad happens]

And to finish it off a spiritual thought, kinda...

Uh... I forgot what it was, I'll get back to this next week :]
(Check bottom of email, I guess)

Things Happened/ Grandpa will like my photos!! :)

Things Happened / Grandpa will like my Photos!!  :-) Hi again, this week was an adventure! Almost of a life time! Because I will be back! MARK MY WORDS  Monday- Not much happened, I was recovering from the sickness last Sunday. And it was p-day with no sports happening.  But we did have dinner with the Lee's! Tuesday- We had interviews with the mission president at the stake centre that was 30 minutes away, but there was a Chick-fil-A on the way so we carefully and tactical planned our route to go to Chick-fil-A before the interviews for lunch. Had interviews, President's favorite Ice-cream flavor is Rocky Road! And on their mission board I found someone who served in Albuquerque back in 2010! We then had dinner with the Salter's! Bro. Salter is a funny guy, saying that butter is bears grease and honey is bee barf! Then went to the Rec Centre to play some floor hockey! Wednesday- We had District Council of all guys! (The sisters left our district) Then we helped with some...

Pots, Pots, and more pots....

Pots, Pots, and more Pots...   Hello wonderful Americans,   I'm realizing I'd rather be learning Samoan, then be here in the cold.. This week hasn't been all that exciting until we get to the weekend. But for now, the beginning just had some lessons, more snow, more cold, some member dinners and such. Normal missionary stuff in the Great White North. With all the snow, roads are getting slick and parking lots just have crunchy snow in them. But yet I have not seen a single snow plow truck yet, which is quite surprising. I'm also finally starting to get into being a missionary, as it doesn't feel like I'm struggling to get through each day anymore. It honestly feels like it was only 2 or 3 days ago that I sent my last email. Which is good, and hopefully it will speed up to months instead. So far this week I've been to 3 baptisms!! Neither of them I would've actually gone to, because they're not part of my area. As for the title, I've done lots of ...

Then did more service with helping a member of Strathcona move in to a part of town that is not within Strathcona boundaries.. (it's fine, I think) But went to a Peta Bake place which was good! We did some stopbys and got in contact with some people, then had dinner at the Pierson's! Wednesday Honestly not really sure what happened today..
