How to Lose Your Leg...
Floor hockey is like ice hockey in many ways, but some ways they are different is of the following: it's on the floor, not ice, your wearing shoes, not skates. These differences don't change the sport, but can influence the way we learn and do the sport.
Just like the gospel we all have different ways that we use it, and those different ways will influence on what we can learn and do with the "sport". But no matter how we teach it or share it, there is still the main point that gets across to all who "play" it.
In floor hockey, you normally don't really have any padding. So you get a lot if the puck ever gains any airtime, especially if your goalie **cough cough* Elder Dabling *cough cough** (I'm forever injured)
Anyway, there was an exchange last Monday that I might have talked about, bit it was with Elder Jex, lots of good times
We went to a baptism and we did some prep for the Forest Heights ward Christmas party. Later that night we did the party, of which some friends showed up for which was good.
Sunday was also good, the normal break from missionary life by going to 5 hours of church. And I also finally watched the Christmas devotional, I'm only a few days late...
Then Monday comes around again, and we got transfer news!! And I'm staying, but my trainer is going to a different area, so I get a new trainer. Woo!
But I'll probably have to lead out the area in the beginning to let Elder Pace get used to the area.
Then we went to West Ed Mall, the 2nd Largest mall in North America. And I also got a custom Lego mini figure, as it has 1 of 5 in the world.
And checked out other things (photos)
And now back to the favorite part of every p-day and email, Floor Hockey!!!
Where I will probably get injured again (past tense)
I indeed did get injured in the shin and foot (Future tense)
Also the Strathcona Married Student ward Christmas party is tonight, so Woo!!! More free food!
Also the Downtown District of all guys ends in this transfer :(
